Meghan Markle is reportedly planning a big move as she enters 2026 with insiders revealing the Duchess of Sussex will release her first book for adults.

However, contrary to rumours, it will not be a scandalous tell-all. Instead, the Duchess is said to be working on a cookbook featuring recipes.

According to Daily Mail, the book will do “no harm” to Prince Harry’s family.

“Meghan is looking at a cookbook for early 2026 and there will be more lifestyle products coming in the spring,” the source said.

The book is expected to include recipes like her “single skillet spaghetti,” rainbow fruit salad, and homemade jams, alongside tips on entertaining at home drawn from her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.

The book is expected to launch in spring and may coincide with an expansion of her As Ever brand into lifestyle products such as candles.

Insiders describe the project as a low-risk move that focuses on her personal interests and professional brand.

It would offer a softer, domestic side of Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, rather than stirring controversy with the royal family.

Last year, while speaking on Jamie Lima's podcast, The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Meghan said she is not ready to write a memoir.

On releasing a book, she said, “Yes, maybe, for sure. I love, right now, working on everything in the space of hospitality and home and entertaining and food and those sorts of tips."

“I think people are often curious if I'm going to write a memoir, but I've got a lot more life to live before I'm there."
