Prince Harry has received a warning ahead of his "make-or-break" 2026.

While the Duke of Sussex enjoyed a successful Invictus Games in 2025 along with a UK return in September and a reunion with his father King Charles, the year was also overshadowed by some major setbacks.

Harry stepped down as patron of Sentebale charity and suffered legal blow after losing his court of appeal case over security in the UK.

However, experts suggest that the new year could be pivotal for the Duke of Sussex. Royal expert Jennie Bond told Mirror that while Harry's UK security arrangements are under review, the decision is expected early in 2026. If it goes in Harry's favour, it could remove major barrier to him visiting the UK.

The expert said, "2026 could turn out to be a very good year for Harry. If his security review goes in his favour, he will feel that an obstacle to visiting the UK more often – and possibly bringing his children here – has been removed. It has also been a spanner in the works in his relationship with his father."

Moreover, this could also lead to the rift between King Charles and Prince Harry be gradually mended. Yet, the reunion with Prince William is "a much bigger ask."

Jennie noted, "We’ve seen this year that Harry is still very popular when he carries out his charity work. He’s incredibly good at it. I suspect he’s more comfortable working in the charity field than in film production, about which he knows very little."

She went on to advice Harry to "play to his strength," and "continue using his platform to highlight issues that matter to him and keep lending his name and fame to the charities he wants to help."
