Brad Pitt faces new lawsuit amid ongoing winery battle
Brad Pitt accused of copying men's wellness brand
Brad Pitt is reportedly facing another lawsuit amid his ongoing Winery battle.
As revealed by Radar Online Pitt is being sued by Brandon Palas, the founder of men's wellness brand Beau D. As per Palas, Pitt's skincare line Beau Domaine infringes his trademark.
The outlet obtained the documents revealing that Pitt and his business partners originally launched the skincare line under the name of Le Domaine before rebranding it.
Palas told the outlet that before filing suit, he attempted to resolve the dispute, saying, "We offered Beau Domaine three private, pre-litigation settlement options, in good faith."
"(One) that they undertake a rebrand; (Two) that they compensate us for the right to continue operating as-is while affording us the opportunity to meaningfully differentiate our brand; or (Three) that they fund our rebranding efforts," he added.
This comes as the Oscar winner is already locked in year-long legal fight with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie over their shared French winery.
Furthermore, sources believe that the ongoing battles have made Brad Pitt increasingly cautious about business partnerships. In fact, he is said to be more cautious when it comes to involving his jewelry designer girlfriend Ines de Ramon in his business.
The source said, "Brad's history is crystal clear. When he's in love with a woman, he gets into business with her, almost instinctually."
Adding, "It's just what Brad does. And when these relationships break up, it causes him a lot of pain, time and energy to untangle the finances."
"She's an extremely talented designer with very good marketing sense. So he often asks her to weigh in with an opinion, but it's strictly informal," they concluded.
