Meghan Markle may be 'dealbreaker' in Prince Harry & King Charles talks
A royal expert believes Meghan Markle may play a spoiler in a complete reunion of King Charles and Prince Harry
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal duties in 2020. This decision reportedly created a rift in The Firm.
However, now attempts have been made to repair the relationship. Hilary Fordwich, a royal expert, says King Charles wants his son and his family back into the fold of the family.
“King Charles has always called Harry ‘my dear boy.’ He’s always had a soft spot for his son, and he does want to see his grandchildren," she shares.
But if Harry and Meghan do return to the family, they must follow the protocol, says the royal watcher.
“The king and Harry continue to clash over Meghan. Charles insists that Harry commit to making her return to the fold and follow royal protocol. If Meghan comes back, she’ll no doubt be expected to follow the same rules as Harry.”
But Hilary believes Meghan may throw a wrench in the works. “I don’t think Meghan will ever be happy in the U.K. She’s a California, high publicity, celebrity-thinking girl. She may be the dealbreaker," she tells National Enquirer.
Elsewhere in the interview, the expert also shares that there are speculations about trouble in the royal couple's marriage.
“The big issue is the condition of Harry’s marriage. There has been whispering in and among courtiers that he’s not really happy," she notes.
It is worth noting that Harry and Meghan married in 2018. The pair shares two kids.
