King Charles’ plans for Princess Beatrice, Eugenie’s future finally sees the light
This years’ Christmas lunch has truly changed things in the British Royal Family, not just for Andrew but his daughters as well
Christmas lunch this year has truly revealed just what King Charles thinks of Andrew’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as his plans for their future, in one fail swoop.
Everything has been commented on by the editor of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward.
She shared the potential outcomes for the sisters while speaking to Vanity Fair and started by calling even the invite to Christmas lunch a “show of support” for the sisters.
For those unversed with the sisters’ challenges this year, it refers to their parents plight after having their correspondences with known sex offender Jeffrey Epstein leaked.
While no calls have yet been made, officially, for their own titles to be revoked, as was the case with their father, who is henceforth known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor instead of Prince Andrew, but he also lost his dukedom of York, as well as his military honors.
But that is not all, because here were also revelations related for his associations with a Chinese spy last year. All of this has led to him to also lose the chance to live in a taxpayer funded property like Royal Lodge.
Regardless of his standing however, the expert notes that where his daughters are concerned, “invitations went out months ago, and we do know the king loves a big family Christmas.”
Furthermore, “Beatrice was there last year” as well even though “she then left after church and went for lunch with Sarah and Andrew at Royal Lodge,” because of the ongoing media frenzy related to that alleged spy.
All in all, “I think the king has been keen to show his support to his nieces during a difficult year for the York family,” Ms Seward added before signing off.
What is pertinent to mention is that King Charles also has high hopes for his nieces when it comes to their work on the social front because, as a source told Tatler earlier, “it was something that was being looked at before recent events but despite what has happened with Andrew, it’s not off the cards. Whatever people might think of Andrew, the girls are kind, hardworking and want to help if they can.”
