Cinematographer Barry Markowitz revealed shocking details about Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer's relationship with their children.
Barry, who was a close friend of the late Spinal Tap director, shared that the couple was enjoying loving dinners and TV time with their children just weeks before their violent deaths.
Rob's pal made the shocking statement on Tuesday during an interview with Page Six about his recent stay at the filmmaker's Brentwood residence.
“I may have been one of the last people to see them,” he told the outlet.
Barry explained that the Princess Bride director had invited him to stay at his house while he was in town for the premiere of his new movie, The Perfect Gamble.
“They would say, ‘You’re staying here. You’re not going to no hotel. There’s no fridge, good toilet paper, no family,'” recalled the photography.
Barry shared that he lived alongside Rob, Michele and their kids — Nick and Romy - for five nights. However, the pair's other son, Jake, was busy with work elsewhere.
“Romy was in and out [of the house] and at dinner time she comes over and we all bulls–t together,” he said while describing their time together.
“[We would] scream at the TV, we watched a movie and a basketball game. Played with the dogs. Family time. One big love fest," added Barry.
"I slept in the same house as Nick," said the award-winning cinematographer, adding that at no point did Rob express concern about his safety.
For those unversed, Rob and Michele Singer were found dead in their home in LA on December 14.
Police arrested the couple's son, Nick, on Tuesday on suspicion of murdering his parents.
