Princess Eugenie finally decides to snub King Charles Christmas invitation?
Princess Eugenie will celebrate Christmas away from her parents Sarah Ferguson, Andrew and the royal family
Princess Eugenie has apparently made her mind to snub King Charles invitation of spending Christmas with the royal family amid her parents Sarah Ferguson and Andrew crisis.
As per the media reports, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie are said to be facing a 'tug of love' dilemma after King Charles invited them to Sandringham for Christmas.
The Mail on Sunday has reported Eugenie and Beatrice are caught in what one insider described as a “tug-of-love” following the effective sidelining of their parents from royal duties.
The insiders claimed, “Overall it falls to the princesses to soothe family divisions. They are struggling with Christmas.”
The royal source claimed that Princess Eugenie will celebrate Christmas away from her parents and the royal family.
The close confidant says, “Eugenie was tempted to stay in Portugal with her family and husband Jack Brooksbank.
“She is so settled there, far from all the drama.”
The fresh claims came days after Andrew and Sarah Ferguson attended the christening of Beatrice's second daughter, Athena, at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace.
Sarah and Andrew arrived at the ceremony separately.
The occasion marked their first entry into a royal palace since losing their titles in October.
Meanwhile, "Overall, it falls to the princesses to soothe family divisions. They are struggling with Christmas," the insider said.
Recent family occasions have underscored the awkward dynamics at play.
Senior royals including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Princess Anne avoided to attend the event.
