Princess Beatrice, Eugenie navigate tricky situation amid Andrew's scandal
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie caught in Christmas family dilemma
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly struggling to decide how to spend Christmas this year as they are caught between loyalty to their “disgraced” father Andrew and King Charles.
The daughters of Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are said to be torn between joining the royal family or staying with their father at Royal Lodge.
Speaking with OK! Magazine, an insider described the sisters’ dilemma as a “tug-of-love,” with Beatrice, in particular, feeling pressure to be in multiple places at once.
An insider revealed that she is leaning toward spending time at her new Cotswolds home with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, their children, and her mother, Sarah Ferguson.
Describing the situation as a “logistical and emotional nightmare” for Eugenie and Beatrice, the source said, "It falls to the princesses to soothe family divisions.”
“They are struggling with Christmas," the insider added. “Beatrice is feeling particularly under pressure as she feels she has to be in three places at once on Christmas Day.”
"Unless she makes a decision to pick one side and one side only, she will spend a lot of time in the car," the insider said.
"She also felt compelled to spend one final Christmas at Royal Lodge with her father, despite his fall from grace over the [Jeffrey] Epstein scandal.”
