Jamie Lee Curtis is taking a moment to look back at her aging comment, noting that the remark was a "total lie."
Earlier in December, Curtis told Today in an interview that she was "embracing aging fully," now she is walking back her remark.
In a recent episode of NPR's Wild Card with Rachel Martin podcast, the 67-year-old actress has a contrary say.
"And by the way, that's a total lie," she said on the show's latest episode, published on December 11. “That I don’t care. Of course I care.”
The Freaky Friday star went on to explain, “When I look in the mirror, I am looking at the problem, I’m looking at the solution. You know, I can’t filter the mirror.”
She further shared, "The deep, dark, truthful mirror is coming for all of us.”
“We can pretend it isn’t… We can alter reality all we want. We can take a photograph, AI-altered, Facetuning, whatever the f*** it is. But my point is simply: You can’t hide the truth," she added.
Curtis later clarified, "When I say I don’t care, I don’t care about hiding the truth anymore.”
