Prince William, Kate Middleton about to hit a new social media milestone
Prince William and Kate Middleton's online popularity continues to grow
Prince William and Kate Middleton's online popularity is continuing to grow despite the recent setbacks faced by the Windsor family.
The couple, who is currently followed by 17.1 million people on Instagram, is about to hit three million mark on X (Twitter).
The couple currently has 2.9 million followers on the app, a relatively low number compared to their Instagram.
Last month, the royal family made headlines when King Charles stripped Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, his younger brother, of royal titles over his links to the late sex offender Jeffery Epstein.
The Princess of Wales recently hosted an annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey to honour guests who had mostly been invited for service to the community, joined by her husband and heir to the throne Prince William.
The event offers the royal family a chance to thank people across Britain for volunteering, raising funds for charity and supporting the vulnerable.
Kate, 43, last year completed a course of preventative chemotherapy to address an unspecified form of cancer. She gave each guest a note highlighting how a "moment of listening" and "word of comfort" can make a difference to people's lives.
