King Charles makes a decision for Prince George’s Coronation
King Charles plans to leave Prince George with THIS when he becomes the future King
King Charles made a decision at his Coronation that will greatly impact Prince George when his own turn comes, to become King.
Former butler Grant Harrold revealed the significance behind this decision that the King took silently for his grandson.
At the launch event for his book titled The Royal Butler: My Remarkable Life of Royal Service, the former royal aide explained the reason for this move.
According to his own account of events Mr Harrold says, “I had a conversation [with him] and he explained to me about [the] titles, he explained to me about why you bow and curtsey, and he explained to me about the different titles he could use.”
And at the time he, the King and even other colleagues, are said to have discussed it and “we were all convinced he would [become] George VII,” he added. But “perhaps with his grandson George, maybe he felt he should be the next George VII,” he recalls the moment the thought was likely considered.
“Maybe he feels that it would be a nice thing to let him have that - be the next George - because it makes sense for Charles to go with Charles, it does make sense, but to go with George, it would make more sense for his grandson to have that name,” he added before concluding.
