Tori Spelling shares rare update on 'unusual' co-parenting dynamic with Dean McDermott
Tori Spelling drops truth about her ‘shockingly peaceful’ split
Tori Spelling is sharing some insights into her life as a coparent after finalizing her divorce with ex-husband Dean McDermott.
In a recent chat with People at iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on Friday, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, who is mom to five kids, opened up about what it's been like co-parenting with former partner.
"I watched families go through horror stories with the parents, and at the end of the day, you created beings because you had so much love between you," she articulated her thoughts.
Tori then praised Dean, saying, "We love and care about each other so much, and I was shocked just because I always read horror stories and everyone predicted it to be so messy, the divorce, and it was super easy and loving."
Opening up about their family dynamics, she added, "We do family dinners, we do everything together, so it’s really good for the kids."
It is pertinent to mention that Tori shares three sons, Liam, 18, Finn, 13, Beau, eight, and two daughters, Stella, 17, and Hattie, 14, with Dean.
She filed for divorce from Dean back in April 2024, after 18 years of marriage.
Dean confessed to DailyMail back in November 2023, about Tori saying, "All Tori's ever done, to this day, is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of damage and pain on that woman."
"I'm taking accountability for that today. And it's the biggest amend that I'm ever going to have to make," he added at the time.
