Palace on edge as Sarah Ferguson weighs explosive TV interview
Sarah Ferguson’s next move could become the palace’s worst nightmare
Sarah Ferguson is thinking about doing a major TV interview, which could become a nightmare for the Palace, a new report has claimed.
As per OK! Magazine, several big US, UK and Gulf networks have offered the former Duchess of York large sums of money to talk about her years inside and outside the royal family.
Sources have revealed that broadcasters see Fergie as a strong guest because she has lived through many scandals and usually speaks very openly.
"What makes her so sought-after is her history. She has lived through decades of crises, comebacks and scandals, and she's never been shy about speaking plainly,” a senior source revealed.
They added, “That makes her an ideal guest – and a potential nightmare for the palace."
Another insider claimed that Palace aides fear that once she starts talking, she may share stories they do not want made public.
"What really worries people is that once she gets going, there's no filter. She's sitting on decades of tales and her first instinct is always to spill them,” they said.
“No one can predict where she'd draw the line."
A media consultant working with high-profile clients told the publication that Ferguson sees a potential interview as an opportunity to talk about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
"She sees a major interview as something that could either salvage what is left of her reputation or wipe it out completely,” the source shared.
“She wants the space to insist she had no part in any of it and has been treated unjustly."
