Al Pacino has shut down mounting speculation about his marital status after photographs of him wearing what appeared to be a wedding band went online.
The Oscar winner’s unexpected accessory during a recent Los Angeles appearance sparked speculation he had secretly married.
A representative for Pacino dismissed the claims outright, telling People, “Al Pacino is not married.”
The speculation began after Pacino attended an event for Leonardo DiCaprio’s One Battle After Another on December 4. In photos from the evening, the actor, 85, posed with DiCaprio, 51, and later with Teyana Taylor, 34, with his gold band visible in both sets of photos as he wrapped an arm around DiCaprio and held a drink for the cameras.
Pacino’s romantic history has long been under public scrutiny. Over the years, he has been linked to Beverly D’Angelo, Tuesday Weld, Jill Clayburgh, and the late Diane Keaton.
His most recent relationship was with producer Noor Alfallah, with whom he shares his youngest child, Roman, born in June 2023. In 2024, Pacino’s team clarified that the pair remain “very good friends” and co-parent together.
Pacino also has three adult children: daughter Julia with Jan Tarrant, and twins Anton and Olivia with D’Angelo.
Though he has never married, Pacino once told the Boston Herald he wouldn’t rule it out completely, adding, “I never say never.”
In the wake of Keaton’s 2025 death, Pacino said he regretted not marrying her, calling her the love of his life, while Keaton had said she was glad they never married, though it wasn’t her choice to end things.
