Jonas Brothers make sneaky confession about 'A Very Jonas Christmas'
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas discussed writing their film 'A Very Jonas Christmas'
The Jonas Brothers are revealing how their film, A Very Jonas Christmas, was written.
The brothers, including Nick, Kevin, and Joe, play themselves in the movie, which sees them stuck in London right before Christmas. The group then does everything possible to make it back to New York in time.
While they decided to keep their characters authentic yet exaggerated, there were some things they vetoed during writers’ meetings.
"We kind of had individual sessions, but then just sort of [a] brain dump to give the audience a real look at our life," Nick told People. "Obviously, while keeping some things personal. But we wanted this to feel real and to have authenticity from us in there."
They "all sat together and talked through some stuff" so the writers could gauge their dynamic.
"I think they saw pretty quickly what some of the dynamics were. When we got the first draft of the script, we felt it was reflective of our real-life dynamics. Then we tightened the screws a little bit and just went even further with it," he added.
When asked if they held some stuff back, Joe remarked, "Plenty of times."
"I think that was some of the fun dynamic actually on set as well," Kevin added.
A Very Jonas Christmas hit Disney+ and Hulu on November 14.
