Miley Cyrus reveals the real reason she got engaged to Maxx Morando
Miley Cyrus confirmed engagement to Maxx Morando on Tuesday
Miley Cyrus has revealed why she decided to get engaged to Maxx Morando.
During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, the singer shared hilarious reason about why she "got engaged" to Morando.
Revealing her secret phobia of papers, Cyrus said, "the real problem is when people have dry hands and they touch paper."
"It’s getting worse and so there does need to be some sort of intervention and I am gonna look into some sort of EMDR, being hypnotized about it because it is affecting my everyday life," she shared of her phobia.
Adding, "Someone gets an Amazon box, I’m sick, because the cardboard is the worst of it all. It’s extra dry and there’s packaging within it."
Cyrus went on to add that she has fiancé Morando open all the Amazon packages outside their home in Los Angeles. Hilariously noting, "That’s the best part, that’s really why I got engaged because I just make my fiancé open all the packages outside."
However, the host noted that paper symbolizes the first anniversary to which the Hannah Montana star said, "Not here."
When Kimmel said that she might "even sign the marriage certificate" when tying the knot to Morando, Cyrus recalled getting married to ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, saying that their certificate was on "smooth paper" which she preferred.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got divorced 13 months after their marriage. The Flowers singer has been dating Maxx Morando since 2021 after they met on a blind date in 2021.
