Meghan Markle’s newly released episode of the With Love, Meghan Christmas special has just gone live today and promises a candid look into her personal festive plans for Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Throughout the episode fans can see Meghan making Christmas crackers filled with dried flowers, confetti and chocolates, a basket gift for Prince Harry that features a love letter and as well as a handwritten decoration for her tree.

She even teaches little ways to amp up giving this season, from using wax seals on letters because “it's the tiniest detail that suddenly feels elevated” as well as tips to transform a cheap bottle of wine into a headscarf.

However, there were also some candid moments where the Duchess got honest about the personal struggles she faces when attempting to make the season for special for her family.

The biggest of which being her fight against perfectionism because as she tells her guest TV chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio, “I get so fussed about everything being perfect that you lose the magic that even happens in the mistakes.”

However, it wasn’t all trouble because she also admitted to loving the crafting process when she asked, “Do you know why I love this?” because “this idea of just doing something fun that's orchestrated and intentional at the beginning of the meal I think is really cool.”

A bit later into the episode when she’s on a tree farm picking out her favorite tree Meghan also says, “When I string the lights on a tree I do inside so it's lit from within, and on the border, right on the outside. And the same with ornaments. You want to find the placement for them where they're going to find their light.”

She even gushed that “I just loving having a tree up.” Because “there is just something about it that in one area in your house you're able to really encapsulate your family story, really feel the passage of time and the different chapters of your life through the ornaments. For me a tree is part of my memory and love of the holiday season. I love it.”

Even before concluding she added how she’s always “trying to really embrace and lean into making every day of that month special as you're wrapping up a year.” Even though its not necessary because in her own words she also clarified to those fans watching who may not be able to, to not “feel like you have to do it all. Just embrace the special touches that bring you joy.”
