Princess Kate is set to visit children’s mental health charity Anna Freud on Thursday, November 27, per Kensington Palace.
The Princess of Wales is a patron of the charity, which focuses on research and treatment funding for child mental health. Kate has visited the charity a few times before, including during Mental Health Awareness Week in 2023.
This comes after Kate’s Early Years Centre announced a new project which will see them invest £100,000 into research into how parents can tackle distractions caused by digital gadgets.
A week before these major announcements, the Princess gave a passionate speech at the Future Workforce Summit, urging business executives to prioritise “time and tenderness” alongside profit and success. She also argued the importance of stable and nurturing relationships in the healthy development of a child.
Kate has been a patron of the Anna Freud charity since 2016. The organization is a top evidence-based research centre and aims to help young people achieve their full potential while providing support to their families.
Meanwhile, On November 24, Kate also shared a message to support those battling addictions. The mom-of-three shared a message on Instagram and captioned it, "Proud to be Patron of the Forward Trust this Addiction Awareness Week. Addiction is not a choice, or a personal failing, but a complex mental health condition that should be met with empathy and support."
