Lainey Wilson took the world of music by storm with her spectacular performance at the 59th CMA Awards.
A Heart Like a Truck singer co-hosted the show with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, alongside opening the ceremony.
Wilson, since signing a record deal in 2018, has released three critically acclaimed albums and stars in Yellowstone. Previously, she has also won CMA Entertainer of the Year twice.
The Country Singer sang a mashup of nine hit songs during the opening, including Keith Urban’s Where the Blacktop Ends, Chris Stapleton’s White Horse, Miranda Lambert’s Gunpowder & Lead, Lady A’s Need You Now and a few more.
Her performance set the internet ablaze, with fans calling it “best intro ever"!
"First 15 minutes was the best part of the entire show,” one wrote.
Another said, “She's such a great host!"
The third user added, "I don't know how many times I've watched this."
While the fourth admitted, “arguably the best intro ever to the CMAs."
In addition to fans, the artists whose songs she was singing also acknowledged her performance, with Lambert doing a sassy dance during the performance and Urban coming out to join her on the stage.
The performance began with Stapleton’s White Horse as the camera zoomed in on a bemused Stapleton. Then Wilson was seen in the crowd, right next to Brooks & Dunn, hyping up viewers with the duo's 2005 single Hillbilly Deluxe.
From there, it was an epic mashup of country hits, new and old songs.
The 59th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 19.
