The Duchess of Edinburgh, touched down in Belize looking every inch the royal ready for business with a splash of tropical flair to match her surroundings.

The Duchess arrived on 16 November as she continued her tour of South and Central America, which runs from 10 to 19 November.

Stepping off the plane, she was warmly greeted by the Governor-General of Belize, Dame Froyla Tzalam, and Amalia Mai, CEO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

Sophie showcased a vibrant, mood lifting look as she made her way down the runway, opting for a breezy floral dress perfect for the Belizean heat.

With her hair swept into a relaxed ponytail and a bright pop of lipstick, she struck the ideal balance between polished royal and globe-trotting advocate.

Luxury stylist Oriona Robb had nothing but praise for the Duchess of Edinburgh’s Belize arrival look, calling it “a fresh and feminine take on classic daywear.”

Robb highlighted the dress’s easy elegance noting that its bright floral print delivered “effortless polish” with very little fuss.

Her vibrant runway moment comes after a packed fivebday schedule in Peru, where Sophie moved seamlessly from meetings to hands on community visits.

On 11 November, she met Indigenous Women's Rights Defenders, followed by a visit to the Divino Niño Jesus Vision Centre the next day.

She later attended the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition and UK–Peru Reception on 13 November before meeting President José Jeri at the Government Palace on 14 November.

By 15 November, the Duchess was already in Guatemala for her first official visit there, diving into programmes centred on gender equality, child welfare and sustainable development in the Selva Maya.
