Yungblud cancels remaining 2025 tour dates on doctor's advice
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, apologised to fans for cancelling his shows
Yungblud has announced the cancellation of his remaining 2025 tour dates after doctors raised 'concerns' following routine voice and blood tests.
The 28-year-old rock star had been set to bring his Idols World Tour to the US this month but revealed he will now be taking a break from performing until the end of the year.
Sharing the news in a detailed post on Instagram Stories, Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, explained that the hiatus comes on medical advice to prevent him from 'running himself into the ground.'
He apologised to fans with tickets for shows in Philadelphia, Cleveland, Washington, Mexico City, and across Latin America, confirming that refunds will be issued and expressing hope that new dates can be scheduled for next year.
He wrote: 'This year has been truly unbelievable and I feel so lucky and honoured from everything that has happened.
'This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns. I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year.
'I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.'
Yungblud had been touring globally to promote his latest album, Idols, released in June, which recently earned him a Grammy nomination in the Best Rock Album category.
The singer's first performance will now take place in Sydney in January, followed by the UK leg of the tour in April.
