King Charles fulfils Andrew's last wish as 2025 comes to end

King Charles, for once, has put differences aside with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to sign a meaningful agreement.

2025 became a nightmare for the royal family, not because of the monarch's battle with cancer but the scandals surrounding his disgraced brother, overshadowing the poignant work done by the working royals.

However, the King heard pleas of Britons and dropped a bombshell on the former working royal on October 30. He confirmed that Andrew's remaining royal titles and honours have been taken away.

The former Duke of York will also be leaving the disputed Royal Lodge in the coming days, a permanent exit from royal life.

Despite the tensions, the monarch is not ready to sacrifice his nieces and Andrew's daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, at any cost.

An insider told Daily Mail that the King and Andrew agreed to protect the York Princesses from negative shadow.

"It is, perhaps, one of the few things that His Majesty and Andrew agree on," a source close to the royals stated.

Charles and Andrew want what's best for Beatrice and Eugenie. "They also agree that the princesses can play an important, helpful role in public life."

And King Charles is not stepping back from his deal as the York siblings recently received key honours, which appears to be a message for the world that their standing as royals remains unchanged.

Beatrice has been announced as Deputy Patron of Outward Bound. She will be working alongside her uncle, Prince Edward, who is the Royal Patron of the UK-based charity.

On the other hand, The King’s Foundation recently shared Eugenie's photos, who attended a mentoring session for its 35 Under 35 program as a mentor.
