The great white shark bit into a rider’s foilboard
A surprising incident occurred when a white shark bit a foilboard and caused the rider to fall into the ocean at Prevelly, Western Australia on Monday, November 10.
According to the reports it happened around 5.45 local time yesterday and a warning is in place today after a shark knocked a foilboarder into the water.
However, they were between “the Boat Ramp surfing spot and “the Bombie” surfing spot when the incident occurred.
Consequently, officers from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development are efficiently monitoring the situation.
The rider did not suffer from severe injuries, and this specific event with a foilboarder is making current headlines.
People have been advised to take extra caution as a shark warning is in place for the area.
It has been observed that other incidents have involved sharks biting surfboards, and authorities have issued warnings following the incident.
Nonetheless, the close encounter was distressing but non-fatal for the rider, and it resulted in public safety advisories by authorities.
