Prince William, Kate Middleton thank guests by serving them at new house bash
The Waleses move in early to catch bonfire night sparks
Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their royal relocation in quintessentially charming style last weekend, turning Forest Lodge into the backdrop for a very British “thank you” bash.
The Prince and Princess of Wales threw a lively pub party at the members only York Club in Windsor, inviting the builders and staff who worked tirelessly to get them into their new “forever home.”
Guests say the royal duo didn’t just attend, they rolled up their sleeves to serve drinks, mingle, and toast the successful move.
Originally scheduled for “before Christmas,” the move in date was fast tracked so the family could settle in ahead of Bonfire Night on November 5th, conveniently coinciding with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis’s term break.
The extra approach from William and Catherine seemed to make the celebration as personal as it was festive, proving that even royals know how to throw a proper local party.
The couple were more than ready to bid farewell to Adelaide Cottage, a residence shadowed by somber memories from Queen Elizabeth’s passing in 2022 to health scares affecting both King Charles and Princess Catherine.
Their fresh start comes in the form of Forest Lodge, an eight bedroom mansion nestled in Windsor Great Park, which is set to be their family home even after William ascends the throne.
