Beatrice, Eugenie 'step back' from royal life after Prince William warning?
Andrew, Fergie suffer biggest personal loss as Beatrice and Eugenie part ways
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly 'separating' themselves from their parents, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, after Prince William's ultimatum.
The York sisters have been facing professional and emotional challenges since the downfall of their father and mother.
On October 30, Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles initiated a formal process to take down the "Style, Titles and Honours" of Andrew. Not only that, but he and Fergie have to leave the massive Royal Lodge as a consequence of their controversial ties with Jeffrey Epstein.
However, there are whispers about Beatrice and Eugenie's future in the royal family, with one royal commentator urging King Charles' nieces to voluntarily step back and give up on their titles.
In conversation with Sky News, Angella Mollard said, "This is an ideal opportunity to step back from those titles."
She added, "Those titles were chosen by Andrew and Fergie because of their character, because of their pomposity."
Angella also believes that the Princesses, who maintain silence throughout the scandal of their parents, parting ways from Andrew and Sarah's "ethics, morality, character would be a good thing in the long run."
Furthermore, the royal expert stated that if Beatrice and Eugenie choose to renounce their titles, it would be perceived as a gesture that demonstrates "integrity and public accountability."
Their move "would be seen as a mature, front-footed, family-soldering act that shows self-awareness and respect for both the King and William’s preference for a smaller 'r' royal family."
Inside Prince William's secret meeting with Beatrice and Eugenie:
Before the bombshell announcement about Andrew's titles, there were reports that the future King summoned his cousins, asking them to "force" their father to leave the royal lodge.
According to journalist Emily Maitlis, the Prince of Wales put his condition on the table, alarming Beatrice and Eugenie about "re-examining the state of [their] own titles."
