Sabrina Carpenter asked fans to bring their spooktacular style and they didn’t disappoint
Sabrina Carpenter asked fans to dress up for the Halloween special concert during her Short n’ Sweet tour and they obliged.
After treating fans to a series of stunning costume reveals and outfit changes while performing her hit tracks on Friday, October 31, the Grammy winner took to Instagram to thank her fans for making the Short n’ Spooky concert even more memorable.
She expressed admiration as concertgoers brought their spooktacular styles to the fourth of five sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“Short n’ Spooky at Madison Square Garden [three black heart emoji,” the Espresso hitmaker captioned the social media post, which featured highlights from the Halloween-themed concert, during which she wowed fans with sparkly costumes inspired by Wonder Woman, Barbie, and Fred Flintstone. “I love this show so much.”
She continued, “Thank you to everyone who understood the assignment. some of the best costumes I’ve ever seen.”
“And thank you to the most iconic ghostface for letting me lock you up! @drewbarrymore [heart eyes emoji],” the Manchild singer wrote, referencing the traditional “arrest” segment that happens just before Juno performance. This time, the celebrity who got the pink fuzzy handcuffs was Drew Barrymore, channeling Scream. “New York we see you tonight for one more!!!!!!”
Among the many comments on her post, two stood out, one from the official Wonder Woman and Barbie accounts.
“You’re welcome on Themyscira any time [red heart emoji]” wrote the DC superhero’s account, while Barbie chimed in with, “Hi Barbie [flying kiss emoji].”
Carpenter, 26 wrapped up her Madison Square Garden run on Saturday, November 1, before taking her Short n’ Spooky tour to Toronto and Nashville.
