Sean Diddy Combs exact prison release date leaked

The official release date of Sean Diddy Combs’ from prison was revealed on October 27, 2025 after a judge handed down the rapper’s sentence earlier this month.

The 55-year-old music mogul is inching closer towards freedom after the rapper continues to serve his prison, sentenced for two prostitution related convictions.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ online database, Diddy is currently scheduled to get out of prison on May 8, 2028, USA Today reports.

Authorities informed that Sean Diddy Combs is behind the bars at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York City.

On October 3, 2025, U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Sean Diddy Combs to 50 months or roughly 4 years in prison after the Bad Boy Records founder was convicted in July of two counts of transportation for engaging in prostitution and other sexual offences.

Moreover, Diddy was acquitted on more serious charges including sex-trafficking and racketeering in his federal sex-crimes trial this summer.

In addition to that, prosecutors were seeking an 11-year sentence for Combs. However, his lawyers requested judge for only 14 months of prison.

During the trial that lasted approximately two months, prosecutors informed that the rapper pleaded not guilty and is appealing his conviction.

Following the case his legal team filed a notice of appeal in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on October 20, 2025.

In the letter, Diddy wrote, "for all of the hurt and pain that I have caused others by my conduct-I take full responsibility and accountability for my past wrongs."

He further penned, "I understand that the mere words 'I'm sorry' will never be good enough as these words alone cannot erase the pain from the past."

In addition to that, the he also apologized to his girlfriend, Casandra Cassie in court who delivered days of emotional testimony for the abuse, she allegedly faced due to Sean Diddy Combs.

“My actions were disgusting, shameful and sick," said Diddy.

While Diddy’s lawyers failed to get the judge to either overturn his conviction or grant him a new trial, he is expected to spend a little over three years in custody.
