Taylor Swift afraid of upsetting Travis Kelce with ONE wedding invite

Taylor Swift, who is nearly done promoting her latest album, The Life of A Showgirl, has now a mammoth task set out for her: wedding planning.

The Grammy-winning singer was seen revelling in the high of her engagement with Travis Kelce in the past weeks as she showed of her massive ring during interviews and gushed about her fiancé.

She also touched up on what her wedding guest list would look like, indicating that it would be a massive affair. In an interview with Graham Norton, The Fate of Ophelia hitmaker shared how smaller weddings are far more difficult to plan since the guestlist puts a big pressure.

Although, it seems that The Eras Tour performer is already dreading a few invites that she would have to send out, including one of he close friend, in fear of possible drama. Swift famously has girl squad consisting of big A-lister names – and one of them is Zoë Kravitz.

Zoë is currently dating Harry Styles, an ex-boyfriend of Swift who inspired hit songs like Style, I Knew You Were Trouble, Out of the Woods and Is It Over Now?. The former One Direction member was considered to be one of Swift’s “toxic” boyfriends. And now that he is dating Zoë, it is possible that he would also be extended an invite as a “plus one”.

Even though Taylor has maintained that there is no bad blood between her and Harry. They were even seen sharing a friendly hug at the 2024 Grammy Awards after the As it Was crooner won the award.

Meanwhile, Zoë is “very close” to Taylor who doesn’t mind her friend dating her ex. Although, Swift doesn’t want to “put herself, or Travis, in an uncomfortable position”, a source told Closer Magazine.

As for Travis, the source suggested that he would like for him to be “banned” from coming.

The insider noted that while the Kansas City Chiefs tight-end understands and knows about his fiancée’s dating history, he “doesn’t want to meet them and he certainly doesn’t want to hang out with them or, even worse, have one of them at his wedding”.

Hence, it means that there wouldn’t be a seat reserved for Joe, who dated Taylor for nearly six years and famously inspiring albums like, Lover, Evermore, Folklore and hit songs in Reputation, Midnights and The Tortured Poet's Department.

Moreover, Taylor is also not keen on inviting any of Kelce’s exes to their special day.
