Queen Camilla praised as 'gracious' after trolls target her
Queen Camilla's admirer gives befitting response to trolls
Queen Camilla, King Charles III's wife, has been defended by her admirers amid backlash over her recent move amid crisis within the family.
A royal photographer has lashed out at internet trolls who made brutal comments about the 65-year-old royal during her state visit to the Vatican with King Charles III.
The roya couple spent two days in the city-state in Italy. They were in high spirits while attending various engagements.
They met Pope Leo XIV for the first time, and Charles made history as the first British monarch to pray with the Pope since the Reformation.
Camilla was appropriately dressed in black, in accordance with papal protocol, which requires women who are not Catholic to wear a black ensemble and a black veil, or shawl, over their head.
Camilla was all smiles as she also donned a "raspberry pip" brooch in the shape of a cross.
The brooch is significant as it belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth and is estimated to be worth a whopping £40,000.
But, some people online appeared to mock the Queen and her mantilla, calling the headpiece a "misstep" and other brutal remarks about her appearance.
Joshua Brandwood lauded the Queen as "gracious and kind," and hit back at those who made "abhorrent comments" about the royal.
