Hilary Duff shares sad news after teasing new music

Hilary Duff is working on new music, which means she would need energy more than ever right now, but she sadly lost her caffeinated beverage soon after acquiring it.

The 38-year-old actress and singer took to Instagram on Friday, October 14, and shared a picture of the scene of accident on Stories, which showed a lid of spilled coffee and the drink all over her bag.

The Lizzie McGuire star wrote, “Spilled my entire coffee inside my purse and front seat. A whole milk latte. Didn’t even get one sip,” in the caption alongside.

The What Dreams Are Made Of hitmaker appeared to have ruined her Balenciaga bag, which usually costs around $3,000.

Duff shared another picture in the subsequent slide, which showed her in tears, and wrote, “Then I called my husband and sobbed,” referring to Matthew Koma.

This comes after the mom of four recently teased new music in a social media post last month, which showed her in a recording studio. She wrote, “new music … or something” in the caption.

Koma also hinted at Duff’s new music in his yearly birthday post on Instagram as he wrote, “Working on your album with you this year, on your terms, framed how it works for you, has been the f--king best and I can’t wait for the world to hear what it sounds like when you get to speak directly to your people without anything or anyone standing in the way.”

The How I Met Your Father actress first met her now-husband in 2013 and married him in 2019.
