Queen Camilla’s take on wedding inspired dress goes under the radar
Queen Camilla chooses Fiona Clare for meeting with Pope Leo XIV
Queen Camilla turned heads in Rome with a subtle nod to her wedding day during the second day of the royal couple’s state visit to the Holy See.
The royal was a vision in ivory white, wearing a Anna Valentine couture coat dress that bore a striking resemblance to the gown she wore when she famously said “I do” to King Charles almost two decades ago.
The elegant dress, featuring a simple white dress base layered with a shimmering overcoat adorned with silver threaded accents, captured the perfect balance of timeless grace and modern flair.
Arriving at St Paul’s Basilica for the historic Service of Prayer celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Year for the Catholic Church, Camilla’s crisp white look provided a striking contrast to her all black attire from the previous day, proving once again that she can make a quiet yet unforgettable style statement.
For her wedding’s first event in 2005, Camilla opted for a silk chiffon white dress paired with a matching coat, complemented by a Philip Treacy wide brimmed hat adorned with delicate feathers.
She completed the look with classic accessories, including a diamond brooch and pearl earrings.
During her historic audience with Pope Leo XIV, Camilla traded her signature vibrant wardrobe for all black by Fiona Clare, topped with a dramatic veil by Philip.
