Prince William takes lead as King Charles health crisis deepens
Prince of Wales set to take the reins as King Charles continues cancer treatment
Prince William received a new title as King Charles' health crisis deepens during cancer treatment.
The Prince of Wales has been dubbed "ruthless" by a royal expert as he is making big decisions behind the scenes, as his old father appeared "too weak."
For the unversed, on October 17, Prince Andrew left the world in shock with a much-awaited announcement of saying goodbye to the royal family.
Sarah Ferguson's former partner stated that he will no longer be using his title, the Duke of York, and other prestigious honours, as the ongoing accusations keep overshadowing the good work done by the royal family.
Andrew Lownie claimed that it was William who "called the shots" in order to save the monarchy from Andrew's disgrace.
The royal commentator said that the monarch is battling cancer and now his eldest son is "beginning to call the shots."
According to Daily Mail, Lownie said, "He's much more ruthless than his father and I think he can see the huge reputational damage that's been done."
"One of the reasons for the timing is that people are starting to criticise the King for being too weak. I think they realised they needed to do something," the author added.
