Prince Andrew failed to reassure King Charles, which forced the monarch and the senior royals to make a crucial decision behind Palace walls.
For the unversed, on October 17, the royal family finally heard an urgent plea made by Britons and several royal experts, and that is to strip the 'disgraced' member of the firm of his title.
In a statement, Prince Andrew announced that he will no longer use his title, the Duke of York, and other honours in order not to overshadow the good work done by the royal family.
Andrew has been making it to the negative headlines since his infamous relationships with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were exposed in the media. Not only that, Virginia Giuffre accused the Prince of sexually assaulting her in her teens.

But his nightmare is not ending here, as Virginia's posthumous memoir is set to be published on Tuesday, which might have more shocking details, causing more damage to the monarchy.
According to the Mirror, "Andrew has been asked plainly what else was likely to emerge from his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, but said he could not give any guarantees."
