King Charles finally gives stern orders to Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson
Beatrice, Eugenie hit with major setback as Andrew, Fergie's farewell to royal life nears
King Charles has decided on the future of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's royal status amid the Yorks' tumultuous fallout.
The ex-couple received stern orders from the monarch about their ties with the royal family from now on, which would be heartbreaking for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
Fergie and Andrew have been under strict scrutiny since their sympathetic emails to the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, leaving the public furious and calls to ban the former working royals grow.
According to the Sunday Times, "You can’t sack someone from being your brother. But this year, if the duke and duchess were both to be as honourable [as last year], it would be very much for the best and the family would not be disappointed, not least to avoid the King having to make any more difficult decisions."
It is important to mention that last year, the Duke and Duchess stepped back from making appearances alongside the royals for the traditional festivities at Sandringham in Norfolk due to Andrew's involvement in the Chinese spy scandal.
However, their eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, alongside her family, joined the King and the senior royals.
In 2025, Andrew and Sarah are in a more critical position. King Charles wants the couple to stay "invisible" even on occasions like church visits and funerals in the family.
The Times reported, "The King is not of the mind to banish someone worshipping at church or attending family occasions like a funeral."
However, Prince William's father "would hope they would find a more discreet way of attending these events. In the Duke of York’s case, he seems to relish the prospect of not being low-key about it."
