Cardi B makes new year resolution months ahead of 2026

While most people wait until the end or start of the year to make their New Year’s resolutions, Cardi B decided to get a head start this time.

After ringing in her 33rd birthday over the weekend, the American rapper took to Instagram to thank fans for their birthday wishes. 

"Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes! Every one normally makes their new year resolution on Jan 1st but I made mine last night !" she wrote in her post on Sunday, October 13. 

The I Like It songstress also looked back fondly on her past year, during which she released her long awaited sophomore album, Am I The Drama? "Im feeling lucky but most of all blessed! Year 32 was a year I’ll never forget!"

While also sharing intentions for what’s to come, the Grammy winner described her new age as her "Jesus year," writing, "33 is the Jesus year and I must say I never felt so covered and so protected by the man above himself."

"He never fails to remind me that I’m chosen and that I’m anointed and that’s the best gift I could ever ask for," she added. "Thank you all for supporting me and loving me! I love yall back!"

A slew of celebrity friends and fellow artists showed love in the comments section of her social post, including Teyana Taylor, Chloe Bailey, Kelly Rowland, Fabolous, Taraji P. Henson Lola Brooke and more.

Cardi, who is currently expecting her fourth child, is set to embark on her first headlining North American arena tour in February to support her second album Am I the Drama, which dropped on September 19.
