There are strong calls from the public to put a ban on the former working royals from every kind of public-facing royal gatherings.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond compared King Charles and Prince William's reaction towards the scandals involving the Yorks.

She wrote in the i newspaper that the Prince of Wales is as forgiving as his father. Andrew and Sarah would face severe consequences once William becomes King.

The future King himself opened up about bringing change in his reign during his appearance on The Relectant Traveler. He said, "I think it's safe to say that change is on my agenda. Change for good, and I embrace that. I enjoy that change. I don't fear it, that's the bit that excites me, the idea of being able to bring some change."

Commenting on the email scandal, Jennie said, "King Charles has never been that close to Andrew, but he is his big brother. And Charles is a man who is all about harmony …he is not someone who enjoys confrontation."

The royal expert added that William is "determined to change the monarchy for the better," hinting that he takes strict action against his uncle.

However, Jennie claimed that the Prince of Wales would think of his cousins, Beatrice and Eugenie, which might stop him from "humiliating" the Duke and Duchess of York.

"Banishing or humiliating Andrew and Fergie would cause the sisters further hurt. And that's a tough nut for William to crack," she stated.
