Princess Eugenie makes emotional statement on 'mum' amid Fergie tough time
Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie step out amid calls to ban Andrew and Sarah
Princess Eugenie made rare comments about motherhood in her latest public appearance amid challenging times for the Yorks.
She, alongside her eldest sister, Princess Beatrice, made a low-key appearance at Simon Cowell’s fundraising event for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH), which took place in the Cotswolds.
The meaningful gathering raised £1.1m for children receiving treatment at the London hospital.
In conversation with Hello! Magazine, Eugenie made an emotional statement about being a 'mum' and how participating in such events felt honourable.
She said, "It was very important for me to support Simon, Lauren [Silverman] and Saskia [Johnston] today."
"I think what GOSH is doing for children is fantastic. Having two children of my own, you just see how much it changes you as a person to be a mum, and now it means more to me than ever to support those with children who are unwell. I am so honoured to be here today and support the charity," Eugenie added.
On the other hand, Princess Beatrice also lauded the efforts made by GOSH in providing "wonderful" medical healthcare to underprivileged kids.
She further said, "No matter what you are doing, taking the time to focus on children’s health is the most important thing."
Eugenie and Beatrice's heartfelt remarks came after their parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's controversial emails to Jeffrey Epstein leaked in the media, sparking strong backlash and calls to completely ban the former couple from royal life.
