TNA Wrestling Bound for Glory 2025 results: Who won the world title?
The pay-per-view was a huge success setting a new record for TNA
TNA Wrestling’s biggest event of the year, Bound for Glory 2025, delivered a major title change and an emotional ending as Mike Santana defeated NXT’s Trick Williams to become the new TNA World Champion.
The pay-per-view held at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, was a huge success, setting a new North American attendance record for TNA with a crowd of 7,794 fans.
In the main event, Mike Santana finally achieved his lifelong dream by defeating the WWE NXT star, Trick Williams, for the prize in TNA. For months, Santana had been chasing Williams, who had held the title since earlier this year.
The victory was especially significant for Santana as his young daughter watched him win from the ringside area.
The celebration was cut short as the two winners of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match, Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian, tried to cash in their contracts for an immediate title match.
The lights went out and the returning Elijah appeared to stop Nemeth, while Santana quickly knocked out Kazarian to keep his new championship.
TNA Wrestling’s official staff statement highlighted the significance of Santana’s main event victory:
“Mike Santana’s Path of Purpose led him to the main event of TNA Wrestling’s biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory, where he challenged NXT’s Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship.”
“Santana brings the TNA World Championship back home to TNA Wrestling, after it was in the possession of a WWE NXT Superstar since May.”
