Shailene Woodley talks about including her feline pals during holidays
Shailene Woodley is gearing up to celebrate the holiday season her favourite pets.
The Divergent star has adopted two rescue cats named Pharrah and Bear.
In conversation with the People magazine, she revealed her plans about getting into the holiday spirit with her cats.
"The animals have stockings at Christmas, and stuff for Valentine's Day or whatnot. I love including them in life journeys," she said.
"But it's also anytime I'm traveling. Because I travel so often for work to new locations to do films, anytime we're in a new home, I'm like, 'Okay, you get a new little bed, or you get a new toy,'" The Fault in Our Stars actress added.
Talking about her new cats she added, “It's the first time I've ever had sibling pets. The affection that they share extends into the affection that they share with me, and the affection I share with them.”
Woodley went on gush about how her pets don’t make her feel “lonely” saying that she now has “nothing to complain about at all in my personal life, because I have this unconditional love and affection from them.”
Overall, Woodley admitted being a pet parent "transcends an idea of love, knowing that they have given me their lives and entrusted me with their lives."
