Meghan Markle causes fresh concerns at Palace after Paris appearance

Meghan Markle appeared to have ruffled some feathers in the Palace as the courtiers believe that the Duchess of Sussex is planning something big following Prince Harry’s visit.

The Duke of Sussex has already been at odds with the “men in grey suits” suggesting that they are trying to “sabotage” his reconciliation efforts with King Charles. Despite the pleasant ‘private tea’ between the father and son last month, the new war of words between Harry and the courtiers have caused a major setback for the Sussexes.

Although, Meghan remains undeterred in her mission as she reclaims an elite spot in Europe, after her surprise solo visit to France to attend the coveted Paris Fashion Week.

The Royalist’s Tom Sykes pointed out that this was the first time Meghan had travelled to Europe since she attended the Düsseldorf Invictus Games in 2023. And this could mean that there might be more trips to the continent anticipated from the Sussexes, maybe even to the UK.

The As Ever founder was simply in the French capital to support her designer friend, Pierpaolo Piccioli, but the “symbolism was impossible to miss”.

“If they really plan to spend more time here,” one former courtier told the Daily Beast. “It changes everything. It puts them back in the frame, and that’s not what anyone expected.”

Sykes noted pointed out the Meghan still carries the title ‘Duchess of Sussex’ and she blended very well with the European elite as she seems to be “easing herself back into its orbit”.
