Prince William left fans and royal experts by surprise by showcasing an emotional side on television despite being a future King.
For the unversed, the Prince of Wales recently appeared on The Reluctant Traveller with Canadian actor Eugene Levy.
From discussing his parents, Charles and Diana's divorce, to speaking of bringing change to the monarchy, William's emotions were on full display.
He also opened up about the hardest year of life and how his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were coping with the Princesses of Wales' cancer phase.
Speaking of William's new interview, body language expert Judi James said to Express, "Unlike his brother, Prince William has clearly inherited the stoic gene that he talks about when referring to his 'stoic & resilient' royal relatives. He impersonalizes these rather tragic references by generalising verbally, referring to how 'you' cope rather than focusing on himself."
According to the expert, the future King showed his vulnerability without acting vulnerable as he spoke about his father's and wife's health woes.
It has been said that Prince William set a great example for the future generation of royals as he discussed his emotions in public.
“William is not a man given to over-sharing his emotions in public, and it's possibly this that makes this moment so unbearably sad to watch... but in the end it's the powerful emotions that win here," Judi said.
