King Charles makes change in royal home amid hopes to meet Archie, Lilibet
King Charles adds special piece in home after receiving Archie, Lilibet portrait from Prince Harry
King Charles is spearheading several changes in the monarchy but he also seems to be making room in his personal life to welcome more love.
The monarch, who reunited with his estranged son Prince Harry last month for the first time in two years, hopes to meet his two children, six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet.
Prince Harry had also previously told The Guardian that he is “closer” to bring his children back to UK following the private tea with his cancer-stricken father at Clarence House. Moreover, in recent statement, Harry’s spokesperson confirmed that the King received a portrait of his two grandchildren a gift during their meeting.
As seasons change and edge towards the holidays, festive changes are beginning to appear in royal homes as the King’s beloved Sandringham Estate shared an update – something that would have the children be excited for.
After sundown, The Royal Parkland is transformed into “an enchanting after-dark wonderland”.
“Follow a mile-long trail through The Royal Parkland, lit by thousands of twinkling lights, all set to music, or take a ride on the vintage funfair, toast marshmallows and sip hot mulled wine under the stars,” the message read alongside a photo taken by photographer Gary Pearson.
It is unclear if Prince Harry will be bringing his children to the UK in the near future, or possibly, during the holidays, as tensions seem to grow between him and the Palace courtiers.
Although it is understood that Charles wants to reconcile with his son and have relationship with his grandchildren. It remains to be seen how things pan out.
