Diddy’s kids break down as they beg for mercy after father's sentence
Sean Diddy Combs' kids speak up in court, begging the judge to let go of his father
Sean “Diddy” Combs was left in tears as his children stood before a New York court and begged the judge to show mercy.
The 55 year old music star faced sentencing on charges of transporting people for prostitution.
One by one, his children spoke, describing how much they still needed their father despite his mistakes.
Quincy Brown told the judge that his dad “has learned a lesson” and “completely transformed” during his time behind bars.
Justin Combs, fighting his own emotions, called his father his “superhero” and said watching him “broken down and stripped of everything” was unforgettable.
Christian Combs, the eldest son with Kim Porter, pleaded directly: “Please give my family grace. Please let my father out. Please give him mercy.”
Eighteen year old Jessie also broke down, as she admitted her father “isn’t perfect” but reminded the judge that “he is still our dad, and we still need him.”
She recalled how the rapper promised to protect her and her siblings after their mother died in 2018.
Her twin sister D’Lila added that their youngest sibling, two year old Love, kept asking where their father was.
Along with their words, Sean Diddy himself sent a heartfelt letter, as he confessed he was “scared to death” of staying in prison and begged to be released so he could be with his seven children and his ailing mother.
However, 50 Cent also did not hold back after Diddy was sentenced to four years in prison for prostitution offenses.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, poked fun at his longtime rival by posting a court sketch of Diddy crying and joking that he could replace him at a speaking gig.
