According to TikTok’s faith communities, it has been foretold that yesterday- or today; they couldn’t make up their minds on which one, so just go with it-is the day of the Rapture.

According to the more holy corners of TikTok, it has been a toss-up on which one, so just go with it – is the day of the Rapture.

All the buzz about ‘RaptureTok’ originated from South African pastor Joshua Mhlakela, who revealed that the Rapture will occur on September 23 or 24, 2025.

Mhlakela claimed the knowledge about Rapture Day came directly from a dream he had back in 2018, in which Jesus appeared to him.

Interestingly, Mhlakela reiterated all of this on September 9, while appearing for an interview with CettwinzTV and since then, the prophecy has become a buzz on TikTok.

One can imagine the buzz this ‘RaptureTok’ trend has created, given the fact that netizens have taken it very seriously, with over 350,000 videos circulating under the hashtag #rapturenow-leading to the popular subsection labeled as ‘RaptureTok.’
