Justin Bieber finally drops 'SWAG II' after hours-long delay
Justin Bieber first teased his new album 'SWAG II' just a month after the release of the first 'Swag' album
Justin Bieber has finally released Swag II after hours long delay from its scheduled release time.
The follow-up to Justin’s surprise album, which was also released with minimal warning on July 1, first appeared on YouTube Music past its promised midnight drop time, before becoming available on other major streaming platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, and more.
In his latest Instagram post on Friday, September 5, the Baby singer wrote, "OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG WE LIVEEEEEEEEEE," after addressing the delays in a series of earlier posts.
Swag II included 23 songs with guest appearances from Bakar, Eddie Benjamin, Lil B, Hurricane Chris and Tems.
Meanwhile the first Swag clocked in at 21 tracks, featuring Cash Cobain, Dijon, Druski, Eddie Benjamin, Gunna, Lil B, Marvin Winans and Sexyy Red.
The two surprise albums feature a combined total of 44 songs.
The latest album was teased early Thursday morning with billboards popping up in London and banners appearing in West Hollywood, much like the Stay singer did ahead of Swag release.
He confirmed the album’s imminent arrival on Instagram, stating that the record would drop at midnight.
However, Swag II was released after a delay of at least three hours and 10 minutes from its announced midnight Eastern Time launch, with the album first appearing on one streaming platform around 3:10 a.m. ET.
Justin shared via his Instagram Stories that he was still making edits shortly before the expected launch time.
