Meghan Markle's product line awaits Netflix approval: 'under review'
An insider close to Netflix has emphasised that no final decision has yet to be made
The decision is yet to be made.
Meghan Markle and Netflix's agreement over stocking the Duchess of Sussex' products appears to have stalled, as a source claims a decision is still pending on the items.
The first physical stores connected to the streaming giant's As Ever were expected to launch at the Philadelphia and Dallas branches of Netflix house.
An insider close to Netflix has emphasised that no final decision has yet to be made.
For context, when Meghan and Prince Harry made the stunning decision to quit as working members of the Royal Family in 2020, the couple had to make a series of other choices to help them grow professionally and financially.
They signed a major deal with the streaming giant, reportedly worth £75m over five years, which is expected to expire in 2025, according to GB News.
However, with lower-than-expected ratings on some of their shows, there were speculations over whether the couple would continue their partnership with Netflix.
Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed alongside Netflix that they will working together with several new projects in the pipeline.
The couple said: 'We are proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand.'
Interestingly, the streaming company is said to be advancing its partnership with Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever and has extended the current product range.
There will also be a special Christmas episode in December for Meghan's lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan.
