When did Travis Kelce know Taylor Swift was 'the one?'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got close soon after they started dating in summer 2023, because of their similar values and experiences in life.

The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end got down on one knee and proposed to the pop superstar, 35, last week but he knew they were End Game way before this month.

“He knew that he wanted to marry her. [The date] was just a matter of when the timing was right. It was less about the significance of the time and [more about] when he could actually do it in between her tour and his season,” a source told Page Six.

Last week, while the Anti-Hero hitmaker and the NFL star were recording their record-breaking podcast episode for New Heights, there was a team secretly working at the picture-perfect setup for Kelce’s proposal in his backyard.

The team was hired to bring a magical garden to life for the surprise proposal the star athlete had planned.

The insider also shared that Kelce chose the day they were recording the podcast because he wanted Swift to “already be in hair and makeup” for the special occasion.

Swift’s soon-to-be father-in-law earlier revealed that he had been pressuring his son to pop the question to the Lover songstress for a while as everybody in the family knew.

The couple then announced the engagement after keeping it a secret for a few days.
