Motorcyclist travelling world gets bike stolen in UK
Indian adventurer loses £15,000 in equipment after traveling through 17 countries
Indian motorcyclist, Yogesh Alekari, global tour has been unexpectedly halted after his bike and £15,000 worth of equipment were stolen from Wollaton Park in Nottingham, England despite having traveled safely through 17 countries.
The 33-year-old traveler had parked his KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle at the park and went for breakfast on the other side of the road and came back within an hour but found the bike nowhere.
An unlucky but pro-driver expressed: "I crossed the road for breakfast and came back to find everything gone."
"I broke down crying. People warned me about the UK, but I thought Nottingham would be safe,” the BBC reported.
Scene surveillance camera video showed three thieves came on mopeds and stole the bike alongside all attached stuff.
The missing vehicle was equipped with his passport, MacBook, vlogging cameras, and travel documentation.
The Indian national was on tour to explore multiple countries and started his trip from Mumbai on May 1, 2025.
Alekari traveled through Iran, China, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and multiple European countries before reaching the UK. Rider's next plan was to continue towards Africa before returning to hometown.
