Apple is confirmed to be holding its annual fall event on Tuesday, September 9, where the company is expected to unveil new iPhones, watches and other potential devices.

The event will take place at the company’s Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California and serve as the tech giant's most important moment of the year.

However, investors will be closely monitoring Apple’s upcoming fall event, as there are particular concerns about the company’s progress in AI technology.

According to media sources, Apple will also unveil a slimmer version of its latest iPhone, possibly branded as the iPhone Air, resonating its iPad Air and MacBook Air lines.

Apple’s typical strategy upgrades its standard Pro models with new processors, and progressive enhancement to the camera and battery life.

In comparison with standard, the Pro models offer more advanced, bigger screens, slightly more powerful processors and a titanium-built design.

The company is also expected to demonstrate new entry-level high-end Apple Watches, upgraded iPad Pros and a faster version of the Vision Pro headset.

Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) was held in June where Apple announced a major overhaul of its operating system and introduced a new design language which it calls “liquid glass”.

Apple has shifted major production of most of its US bound iPhones to India to mitigate reliance on China.

Trump has hinted that Apple wouldn't be subject to the upcoming 100% tariffs on semiconductors.

Earlier this month, Apple announced a major expansion of its U.S. investment committing to a total of $600 billion over the next four years.
