Kate Middleton sends powerful message from Balmoral: 'Leaves cancer behind'
Princess Kate hints at 'fresh start' in life after new outing with Prince William and royal family
Kate Middleton issued a major life update in her fresh outing with Prince William, their children and senior members of the royal family.
The Princess of Wales debuted her new blonde locks, the lightest hair colour to date, during a church visit with her husband and kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Catherine was pictured in a calm and composed posture on a passenger seat, whereas William drove his family to Crathie Kirk in Balmoral, Scotland.
Speaking of the future Queen's latest move, Carolyn Mair, a British psychologist, claimed that the mother-of-three was giving a powerful message of "leaving her illness" behind.
The colour change showcased that the Princess felt "brighter and more energetic" after a challenging period in her life.
In conversation with Fox News, Miss Carolyn shared, "Hair is our crowning glory and a symbol of health and femininity."
The medical expert said, "Kate might want to make a fresh start by embracing a lighter outlook on life."
For the unversed, Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024 via an emotional video. She underwent preventative chemotherapy, and at the beginning of 2025, Catherine revealed that she had completed her treatment, but the road to recovery is long.
Speaking of her medical procedure, Miss Carolyn added, "I don’t know if Princess Kate lost her hair during her treatment, but if she did, she might want to colour it blonde as a means of drawing attention to it."
Princess Kate may be "reclaiming agency and visibility, and leaving her illness behind," with a new hair look.
